Who You'll Work With
The people behind your project
No sales reps, no rotating project managers. These are the people you'll talk to from the first call to the final walkthrough.
Ed
Founder & Master Builder
The man who started it all. Ed obtained his General Contractor license in 2013 to lead a church remodel, and that same dedication to craft still drives every project today. Decades of hands-on experience mean nothing gets past his eye — if it's not right, it gets redone.
Brenden
Project Manager & Field Lead
Carrying forward the family legacy. Brenden learned the trade at his grandfather's side and now manages projects from estimate to walkthrough. He brings fresh energy and modern techniques while holding fast to the values the company was built on.

Our Heritage
A legacy of craftsmanship
2013 · The Church
A license earned for the right reason
Ed didn't get his contractor license to start a business — he got it to save his church. The building needed a remodel that volunteers couldn't handle alone, so Ed studied, tested, and obtained his General Contractor license to lead the project himself. He spent months working late nights and early mornings on a building that meant something to his community. That's where the company's DNA was formed: do the work right, because someone is counting on it.
2014–2016 · The Ripple
From one project to a reputation
The church job finished on time and under budget. People noticed. Friends asked if Ed could look at their kitchen. Neighbors wanted to know if he'd take on a bathroom. What started as a single act of service organically became a business — not because Ed was chasing work, but because the work kept finding him. Every referral came with the same expectation: the same care, the same honesty, the same follow-through.
2019 · The License
CSLB License #940525
As the projects grew in scope — additions, whole-home remodels, ground-up ADUs — Ed formalized what was already true. He secured CSLB License #940525, bonded the company, and built out a W-2 crew instead of relying on rotating subcontractors. The same hands that shook yours at the first consult would be the ones handing you the keys. That principle hasn't changed.
2021 · The Next Generation
A grandson joins the crew
Ed's grandson grew up watching the work — first on job sites as a kid, then as a helper, then as a real apprentice. In 2021 he came on full-time as a project manager, bringing modern techniques and energy while holding fast to the values the company was built on. Today they work side by side, a true family legacy carrying forward into the next decade.

How We Build
How does the E And E construction process work?
No mystery, no hand-offs. Here's exactly what happens from your first call to the final walkthrough — and who you'll be talking to at each step.
On-Site Consult
We walk your space, listen to how you live, and give you an honest scope and realistic budget — no sales pressure, no vague ballparks.
Send an Estimate
You receive a detailed, fixed-scope estimate with line items, materials, and a published schedule. No vague ballparks — you approve everything before we start.
Design & Permit
Designs, material selections, engineering, and permits — all handled by one team. You approve everything before we break ground.
Build
A published schedule with milestones and inspection dates. Weekly walkthroughs. Clean, protected job sites. One project manager the whole way.
Walkthrough & Warranty
A detailed final walkthrough, a punch list that gets finished, E And E's 5-year workmanship warranty, and applicable manufacturer warranty information and registration assistance where applicable.
What We Stand For
The four things we don't compromise on
Accountability
The person who quotes your project builds your project. No hand-offs, no mystery subs, no "I'll have to check with my manager."
Craftsmanship
We build like it's our own home. Waterproofing done right, structure engineered, finishes that hold up for decades — not just until the check clears.
Honest Pricing
Fixed-scope contracts and a clear change-order process. You approve every line item before we start. No surprise invoices halfway through.
Local Roots
We live and work here. We know the inspectors, the microclimates, the coastal code quirks, and which materials hold up within five miles of the beach.
Why Homeowners Choose E And E
Why should I hire E And E over another contractor?
These aren't marketing claims — they're the operating principles that have earned us a 5.0 rating and referrals from every client.
One Team, Start to Finish
The crew that shakes your hand at the first consult is the same crew that hands you the keys. No sales rep hands you off to a project manager who hands you off to a foreman you've never met.
Fixed-Scope Contracts
You approve a published scope and schedule before we start. Change orders are documented, priced, and signed — never verbal, never a surprise on the invoice.
Trained, Experienced Crew
Every person who touches your project has been trained by us and has worked in the industry for nearly a decade. No rookies learning on your dime — just skilled craftspeople who know how we build and hold themselves to our standard.
5-Year Workmanship Warranty
Every build comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty, plus applicable manufacturer warranties on qualifying products and materials. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we fix it. No argument, no fine print.
Published Schedules
You get a real timeline at the start — with milestones, inspection dates, and completion targets. We update it weekly. You always know what's happening and what's next.
We Don't Cut Corners
Proper flashing, flood-tested shower pans, subfloor moisture testing, structural engineering on every addition. The unglamorous details are what keep your project from failing in five years.
Insurance Restoration Experts
We work directly with homeowners and insurance adjusters on water, fire, and storm damage claims. From initial damage assessment to final reconstruction, we handle the documentation, scope of work, and rebuild — so you're not navigating the process alone.
